Amy Anderson was a cottage parent at George Junior Republic in 2004. She was charged with multiple sexual abuse violations, including sexual misconduct with a minor. The child in question was supposed to be under her care.

While other violations are mentioned, Anderson also assisted a 16-year-old boy in escaping the juvenile detention center and sheltering him for two months in 2002 while fleeing the authorities.
